MCT Thoughtful Thursday

It's Thoughtful Thursday with My Creative Time, a day to make a nice card for somebody to let them know that you are thinking about them.  I took this opportunity to make a hello card.

I started by die-cutting the fun Hello Frame Die twice from white cardstock, adhering them together. I kept the negative of one of them, taped it to a piece of white cardstock to use as a stencil, and then inked a rectangle of Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade.  I then ran this piece through my Vagabond with the largest die from Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More.  After popping this up on my card base with some kraft foam beneath it, I added the Hello frame, some hearts made with dies from Carved Heart, and a few Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.

This card was inspired by one made by one of my favorite card makers, Laura Bassen.  Click here to see her version.
