I'm heading in for surgery this morning, so my little ol' blog will be quiet for a while. I'm having a craniotomy to repair a superior semicircular canal dehiscence. For those of you who have been following me for a while, you might remember my having this surgery two years ago. I explained my condition in this post. Unfortunately, it's time to fix the other side. My fingers are crossed for as smooth of a recovery as last time that will get me back to doing the things I love! In the meantime, I've got one last project to share with you...
I thought this strawberry basket box card from SVG Cuts would make an adorable birthday card for a sweet friend! I just love all of the parts to it that make it so full, yet it's still simple to put together!
To make my strawberries more realistic, I embossed them with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. It's hard to tell in the picture, but I went over the flowers with a Wink of Stella Glitter Clear Brush Pen and then added some enamel dots from the My Mind's Eye Wicked collection to the centers.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Vintage Sentiments stamp set, stamped on a banner made with the Vintage Stitched Label Die.
Be sure to keep an eye on Emma's blog while I'm gone. I know I'm going to be missing out on an awesome My Creative Time release!
