I don't know how the weather is where you live, but here in the San Francisco Bay Area, it's HOT! And since it doesn't get hot here too often, we have no AC! Playing with watercolors on days like this is perfect!
For this card, I took a piece of Strathmore Bristol paper, and stamped this cute image and sentiment from My Creative Time's Fun Pockets with Versafine ink. Then I used a very cool technique I learned in Online Card Classes' Watercolor for Card Makers class: I covered the shorts image with rubber cement, let it dry, and then watercolored all around it. The rubber cement acted as a mask. Once the watercolor was dry, I just rubbed off the rubber cement with my finger, and then I painted in the suns. Easy, and so fun!
