Floral Thank You

I'm nearing the end of my thank you card series.  For today's I pulled out Papertrey Ink's Ruby Rose stamps and dies.  They were offering an addition to this stamp set with your December order (actually the offer goes through 1/14), so I wanted to try it out.  The orange flower and the leaves are from the addition set.  Since the sentiment is slanted, I thought it would be fun to stamp it onto white cardstock, and then trim the cardstock at an angle to mimic the slant of the sentiment, before adhering it onto the music note patterned paper.

I popped up a few of the flowers with foam squares to give the card some dimension.

Katie, you cost me some money today! I received a PTI order in the mail which contained the reprise set (I didn't know what was coming) and I wondered what I'd do with it. Then I saw your DARLING card and had to go order the matching stamp set and dies! LOL! Thanks for the inspiration. I especially loved that you cut the cardstock for the sentiment on a slant like the text. VERY cute.
