My son turned 17 last week, and he just wanted money for a present. Of course, I needed to make something cute to put it in!
I designed my money holder in Silhouette Studio by just welding together some rectangles. I didn't save the dimensions, but I just sized the top two a little bigger than the money. The bottom rectangle is half the height of the other two, but a little wider so that it created flaps that I folded in and adhered to make a pocket.
On the inside, I added an oval made with My Creative Time's Stitched Oval Die and stamped it with a sentiment from MCT's Celebrate Good Times.
This pretty jute ribbon is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique, and I used some of her hemp to tie a tag made with MCT's Teeny Tag Greetings Stamp & Die Set, stamped with a sentiment from Celebrate Good Times.
My son is really into photography these days. He's taking a class at school, and my brother lent his his old DSLR, so he pretty much looks like this moose lately! I cut him at 4" from the Cricut Campin' Critters cartridge. The background frame was created with Papertrey Ink's Angled Label Die Collection and stamped with a border from PTI's Label Basics Stamp Set.
