Bikini Beach Card

I thought I'd share a card that I had published in the June issue of the Cricut Magazine.  I used the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge to cut my card base at 4 1/4".  I then cut the scalloped circle shape out of the "waves" patterned paper and adhered it to the card front, along with some "sand" that I hand cut out of cork.  The scalloped frame was run through the Cuttlebug with the Polka Dots embossing folder before using dimensional adhesives to adhere it to the card.  The cute bikini was cut at 2 3/4" from the Pack Your Bags cartridge and popped up as well.

For my sentiment, I cut a tag from Art Philosophy that I had sized at 3/4" x 1 3/4" using my Gypsy, stamped it with a sentiment from My Creative Time's Have Fun in the Sun stamp set, and adhered it to the scalloped framed with a brad.  It's great to have the capability to size my cuts just right for my stamps!
