Butterfly Thank You

Last weekend I had lots of fun at a Teresa Collins class with Liz Munoz.  We each made a gorgeous mini-book using Teresa's Spring Fling collection.  It had lots of butterflies in it, which inspired me to make a card with butterflies.

This is an A2 size card.  To get the pretty lacy circle overlay, I used the Background Lace Circle cut by Karla Dudley, from the Silhouette Online Store.  I followed the directions on how to weld the background to a rectangular frame in this video from Wendy Nasmith Designs.  Very helpful video, since I'm still learning how to use Silhouette Studio!

My pretty butterflies are cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge at 1 1/4" and 1 1/2".  I added some bling that was left over from my kit from the Teresa Collins class.

The sentiment banner was made with a Papertrey Ink die.  I stamped the polka dot background with PTI's Ribbon Tails stamp set, using Versamark Ink, and added the sentiment in chocolate ink.

Here are the products I used for this card:

This is SO pretty! I love how you did both layers of the background the same color. It gives it kind of a faux embossed look. I really like it and the butterflies are so pretty! Hugs- Glora

At first glance, I thought what a beautiful embossed background she used! U may need to get that folder - then discoverd it wasn't embossing at all! Beautiful :) TFS
