Welcome to the My Creative Time "12 Days of Christmas"! You are in for a lot of fun for these twelve days - daily projects by Emma and the design team, along with some fabulous prizes celebrating Emma's one year anniversary! If you arrived here from Jeanne, then you are headed in the right direction. If not, please start at Emma's blog here.
Today's card is A2 size. To make my white layer, I cut my cardstock 5 1/2" wide and trimmed one end with my Martha Stewart Icicle Punch. I was then able to size the height at 4". The light blue patterned paper is cut at 5 1/2" x 3 1/4".
The pick-up truck is from the Cricut Just Because Cards cartridge. I apologize - Blogger ate my original post with my sizes. I'm pretty sure it was cut at 5 1/2" (remember the Just Because Cards cuts coordinate with the card size you choose, so they are unusual sizes). The tree is from Christmas Solutions, and I played around with a size that would fit, using my Gypsy. I just can't remember what that turned out to be!
For my gorgeous sentiment, I used Emma's Stitched Oval Die and then heat embossed "Merry Christmas" using her Gift Card Sentiments stamp set. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the embossing powder does not get stuck in the stitching. I wasn't sure how that would work, but it turned out great!
