MCT Manly Monday

It's Manly Monday with My Creative Time, and I thought I'd try my hand at making a masculine encouragement card.  I pulled out the Build a Sunray set and used one of the included dies to create lots of sunrays from patterned paper from Echo Park's Fine and Dandy collection.  After adhering these onto a piece of woodgrain paper from Simple Stories, die cut the whole piece with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  I then die cut a couple of circles using the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and stamped a sentiment from You Matter onto the smaller one.  To finish off the card I added stars made with the smallest of the Bunch of Stitched Star Dies and the teeny stars from 4x4 Journal Die + More.

77th Birthday Card

My dad is turning 77 today!  I pulled out Papertrey Ink's Big Birthday Wishes for the sentiment on his card.  I just love this one!  For the numbers, I used the My Creative Time Pretty Bold Numbers Dies, layering the 7s three times for extra dimension.  To get the stripes on the card, I used PTI's Cover Plate:  Stripes Diagonal Die.  I also used one of MCT's Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies to cut the stitched light green layer.  I finished off the card with some cute wood veneer bicycles from Studio Calico.

MCT Inspire Me Wednesday

It's Inspire Me Wednesday with My Creative Time, and today I made a fun tag inspired by this one that I came across on Pinterest.  To make mine, I die cut a white tag using Tag Die Layers and a blue layer for behind using Tag Dies.  I then stamped the sentiment and candles from Make a Wish with Versafine ink onto the white layer and colored the candles with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.  Some Silver Star Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh added a nice touch.  I finished it off with a We R Memory Keepers Eyelet, Papertrey Ink Fresh Snow Twill Tape Ribbon, and a little hemp to tie it.

Zipper Tag

I hadn't used my Papertrey Ink Movers & Shakers:  Zippers Dies for a while, and I thought it would be fun to make a tag with them.  As you can see in the picture below, I die cut the My Creative Time Tag Die two times, and I stamped a sentiment from PTI's Movers & Shakers Sentiments  on the white layer before adhering them together.  Now, when the recipient pulls back the zipper, it will be exposed!  The rest of the sentiments on the tag are also from Movers & Shakers Sentiments.  I used the PTI Ruby Rose stamps and dies to make my pretty flowers.

Elmo Birthday Tag

I needed to make a birthday tag for a little girl who loves Elmo, and luckily I was able to find the perfect cut in Cricut Design Space!  After assembly my little Elmo, I adhered him onto my tag, which I made with Papertrey Ink's Tag Sale:  Quilted Die.  I used the banner die that comes with this tag die to make my little banners and stamped on a sentiment from Pedal Pusher.  I can't wait to see the birthday girl's face when she sees her Elmo!
