Snowman Box Card

I've been wanting to try one of Lori Whitlock's box card designs, and I found this cute one in the Silhouette Online Store.  They are really fun and easy to make!  I pretty much stuck to the design, although I used the My Creative Time Winter Flake Dies to make my snowflakes.  Also, for the sentiment, I used the Curly Label Die and one of the Belly Band Sentiments.

MCT What a Treat Wednesday

It's What a Treat Wednesday with My Creative Time, and I pulled out one of my favorite treat dies, the Treat Slider Box, to make a cute little box that holds some Hershey's Nuggets!  I decorated it with a pretty silver snowflake that I made with one of the Winter Flake Dies and a sentiment from Teeny Tag Holidays, stamped on a banner made with with one the Teeny Tag Layering Dies!

I love how the Treat Slider Box comes with the little dies to make coverings for the nuggets - so cute!

MCT Tag It Tuesday

It's Tag It Tuesday with My Creative Time, and I thought it would be fun to make a tag shaped like a present for today's project!  I used one of the Stitched Square Dies Inside & Out for the present, and one of the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies to make the lid.  I ran that die through the Vagabond twice, partially die cutting it each time to make a long narrow rectangle.  That cute patterned paper is from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery collection.  The adorable bow was made with the Medium Stitched Scallop Bow Die, and I made some ribbon to extend the length of the package with one of the Stitched Decorative Banner Dies.  Of course, every present needs a gift tag, so I used one of the Fun Stitched Tag Dies and a sentiment from Holiday Tags.  A tag on my present tag!

MCT 5 Days of Christmas Day 5

Well, it's our last day of My Creative Time's 5 Days of Christmas.  I've gotten so much inspiration from Emma and the rest of the design team.  I hope you have too! For my final project, I made something special for my niece Jane, who is in her first semester of college.  I thought it would be fun to make a twist on the Advent Calendar, a "Countdown to Winter Break" calendar!

I found a cute basket at Joann's and attached a little sign I made to the front of it.  I used my Cricut Explore with the Layered Monogram font to do the writing.  Then I created some "snow," using the More Stitched Edges Dies.  The cute little snowman was created with the Winter Snowman Dies.

Jane has two roommates, plus another friend across the hall that they consider their fourth roommate. So, I needed to create treat boxes big enough to hold four treats in each!  I made some sour cream containers, used the Bubblegum Treat Box Die, the Treat Slider Box, and even the Scallop Stitched Envelope Die, to hold gift cards for a few of the days!

Each container is labeled with a number made with the Number Fun Dies + Add Ons, mounted on a tag made with one of the More Stitched Circle Dies and the Bunch of Stitched Doily Dies.

Hopefully this little basket helps Jane and her friends get through finals!

MCT 5 Days of Christmas Day 4

I've got another Christmas project for you on this fourth day of My Creative Time's 5 Days of Christmas!  I love giving out gift cards for the holidays, and MCT products can make the packaging so cute!  For this one, I used one of the Stitched Postage Frame Dies to make a little base that I could attach a pocket to, which I made with the Stitched Gift Card Pocket Die.  I then made a coffee cup with the cutest dies from We're Better Together!  For my sentiment, I found the perfect one in More Gift Card Sentiments.  Since it is one long stamp, I masked off one part at a time for it to fit onto the rectangle that I had die cut with one of the MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies.

Of course, I needed a cute envelope to put this gift card into, and the Scallop Stitched Envelop Die makes one the perfect size for this project!  Once I tuck it inside, I'll tie some twine around the brads to secure it.
