MCT October Sneak Peek #4

It's our last day of sneak peeks before the big October My Creative Time release tomorrow!  Are you as excited about this release as I am?  I had so much fun putting taught my little tag today!  I used a couple of the new products.

I began with making my tag using the Tag Dies for the red base and the Tag Die Layers for the cream layer.  That adorable deer is from today's sneak:  a sweet new stamp and die set called Oh Deer!  It actually includes FIVE deer dies!  So fun!  I cut my deer out four times and layered him to make him really pop up.  I added a little red nose to turn him into Rudolph!

My sentiment was made with the "Merry" die and "Christmas" stamp from the new Boughs of Holly set.  And then, since I knew I was using an eyelet, I thought it would be fun to add a couple of holly leaves from this set and then use the eyelet as the berry!

MCT October Sneak Peek #3

It's another day of sneak peeks for the October My Creative Time release, and today we have the most adorable winter stamp and die set for you called Winter Cheer!  You will just love this set!!!

I used the largest die from Bunch of Fun Circle Dies to make a circle in my kraft card base, and did the same with a layer for the inside of the card, and then sandwiched a piece of vellum in between them.  This gave me a place to adhere my cute little mittens that I made with dies from Winter Cheer.  This set also comes with mitten stamps, if you prefer to stamp and color your mittens.  I used the heart string to hold my mittens, but there is also one that is just a loop.  There are darling ice-skate stamps and dies in this set too!!!

I just love the font on the sentiment!  There are lots of sentiments to choose from.  I added strips of cardstock and patterned paper at the bottom of the card to coordinate with my little mittens.  The patterned paper I used was from BasicGrey's Eskimo Kisses collection.

MCT October Sneak Peek #2

I'm back with another My Creative Time sneak peek!  Today I made a card using the new Boughs of Holly set.  This is an adorable set with a variety of holly leaf and pine bough stamps and dies, word dies, and lots of adorable sentiments like the one I used here!

To make my wreath, I began by creating a wreath form by using two of the circle dies from Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.  I took a picture of the back of the wreath so you could see how that looks.  If you wanted to make an ornament, you could continue gluing leaves onto this side too!

I used the smallest of the embossed holly leaf dies to make lots of leaves to cover my wreath form, and then I die cut a few berries and added them.  I made the bow with the Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow Die.  I love how it was the perfect size for my little wreath!

My sentiment continues on the inside of the card!

MCT October Sneak Peek #1

Are you ready for an awesome week of sneak peeks?  You are going to love the October My Creative Time release!  So many fun new products!!!  Today I'm sneaking two new sets:  Whimsical Trees and Seasonal Greetings.

To build my little scene I cut a rectangle of turquoise patterned paper from the Carta Bella Ahoy There 6x6 pack, using the largest rectangle die from the Stitched Rectangular Frames Dies & More.  I then made hills using this same die and one of the Fun Stitched Edges Dies with two different shades of green cardstock.  The Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies were perfect for this whimsical card.

Seasonal Greetings includes lots of great sentiments, including the "Happy Fall" one that I used here. I love the cheery font!

Aren't these trees just adorable???  Seasonal Greetings includes three different tree dies and lots of accessories for them!  The little spirals that I stamped onto them with Versamark ink are from the Whimsical Trees stamp set, which also includes stamps of the trees and trunks.  So fun!

Hoppy Birthday!

I have mostly fall birthdays in my class this year, so I had another card to make this week for one of my boys.  I found this birthday frog cut in the Silhouette Online Store and could not resist it.  I adhered him to a white background that I made with one of the My Creative Time Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies, using some woodgrain paper that I got in a Simon Says Stamp card kit last year.  I'm not sure who makes it, but it's very cool.

For my sentiment, I knew I wanted it to say "Hoppy Birthday," but I didn't have that particular sentiment.  No problem - I just took "hoppy" from a sentiment in MCT's To My Best Peep and "birthday" from one in the Many Greetings stamp set and stamped them onto a banner made with one of the MCT Stitched Decorative Banner Dies!
